Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) is administering a national initiative to support the development of female leaders across Australia’s manufacturing sector.
The initiative is providing women with grants to enable participation in a range of leadership development programs.
The leadership development programs are part-time and delivered nationally via WLA’s blended learning model. Scholarship funding is strictly limited and will be awarded based on a set of selection criteria being met.

Course 24 of the Australian Rural Leadership Program have completed their two week session in the Kimberley, WA. The participants including AMPC sponsor Grant Melrose from John Dee Warwick met in Darwin on Day one before the group moved on to Kununurra.

The WA Department of Primary Industires and Regional Development have an upcoming Emergency Animal Disease workshop. The workshop is aimed at the OPVs and meat inspection staff at abattoirs an focuses on disease recognition, sample taking and reporting protocols. People can attend just the Saturday session if necessary.
