The newly elected Board of Directors of Australian Meat Processor Corporation Ltd (AMPC) met today for their first board meeting for 2018 and for the first time since the recent elections held on 27 November 2017. They have duly appointed the key office holders’ roles as follows.
Chair and Deputy Chair
Mr John Berry of JBS Australia Pty Ltd and AMPC Processor Director was elected to the role of Chairman of the AMPC Board of Directors. Ms Melissa Fletcher, newly appointed AMPC Processor Director and CEO of Fletcher International Exports Pty Ltd has been elected to the role of Deputy Chair.
The AMPC Board congratulates them both on their new appointments, and wishes them luck with their endeavours.

Audit and Risk Committee
Mr Bruce Rathie, newly appointed AMPC Special Qualifications Director was appointed to the role of Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, along with newly appointed AMPC Special Qualifications Director Ms Leanne Heywood, and long-time AMPC Processor Director and former Deputy Chair Mr Gary Hardwick of Hardwick Meatworks Pty Ltd.
Nomination and Remuneration Committee
Ms Heywood was also appointed to the role of Chair of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, along with Mr Rathie and AMPC Processor Director Mr Simon Stahl of Northern Co‑operative Meat Company Pty Ltd, who remains on the Committee for another term.
AUS-MEAT Board representatives
Processor Director members Mr Tom Maguire of Teys Australia Pty Ltd and Mr Dean Goode of Kilcoy Pastoral Company Ltd were reappointed to the role of AMPC Directors of AUS-MEAT Ltd.
MINTRAC – National
Processor Director Ms Melissa Fletcher was appointed to the role of AMPC Representative Director to the MINTRAC Board of Directors, replacing Mr Brian James of Thomas Foods International. Ms Fletcher will be deputised by Mr Simon Stahl.
