MINTRAC Meat Micro Workshop 2018

If you’re interested in upskilling your knowledge on microbiological meat testing, be sure to register to attend MINTRAC’s Meat Micro workshop in Wagga Wagga from May 24-25.

Purpose

Over these two days, you will learn how to obtain a range of samples representing the source material (e.g. raw ingredients, product in process and final product) and to prepare the samples for testing. All sampling activities are conducted according to a defined sampling plan.

Benefit

This workshop will benefit those who want to gain the skill and knowledge required to conduct microbiological testing according to the Australian standards and Department of Agriculture ESAM requirements, including:

  • HACCP monitors, verification and QC personnel.
  • Quality Managers and Food Safety Auditors
  • Meat and food industry consultants.

Cost

Workshop fees are $650 per person (excl GST) and include:

  • Course materials.
  • Morning and afternoon tea, and lunch.
  • Statements of Attainment for those who successfully complete all assessment requirements.

Registrations must be received no later than 16 May 2018. If there are not enough students registered by this date the course will be cancelled.
