Sheep CRC Final Conference

The Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC) is excited to support the Sheep CRC’s final conference being held from Tuesday 19th to Wednesday 20th March, in Dubbo, NSW.

After 19 years, the Sheep CRC is winding up in June 2019. The conference will be a celebration of their work, achievements and partnerships over almost two decades and is your chance to chat with all of the Sheep CRC team before they move onto new pastures.

The conference program includes technical summaries of the advances that the Sheep CRC has helped develop all sectors across the red meat industry’s supply chain, with highlights in genetics and genomics research, meat science, and consumer influence on perception of quality.

AMPC has a long-running partnership with the Sheep CRC. Together with other industry partners such as Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), we have created innovative projects that have impacted and benefitted the sheep and lamb industry, such as the facts sheets on lean meat yield, eating quality and nutritional value of lamb meat and optimising the electrical stimulation in carcases to benefit the eating quality.
